Marie Gambetta - Oleander - Nerium oleander
"Marie Gambetta" gehört als weitere gelb einfach blühende Sorte seit Sommer 2006 zum Bestand des Oleanderhofes. Sie ist eine recht starkwüchsige Sorte. Ihre Erscheinung wird jedoch von hängendem Wuchs begleitet. Die Basis wird durch das hohe Ausschlagsvermögen sehr dicht und ist deshalb stark Ascochyta gefährdet. Selbst große Pflanzen können durch Ascochyta ausfallen. "Marie Gambetta" hat die größten Blüten aller gelben Sorten. Sie sind ca. 6cm im Durchmesser und erscheinen in einem noch dunkleren hellgelben Farbton als die recht ähnliche "Souvenier des Iles Canaries". Der Schlund ist noch etwas dunkler, jedoch ohne rote Streifen. "Marie Gambetta" ist eine dauerblühende, jedoch empfindliche Sorte für Fortgeschrittene.
